Mexicana Water Lily makes an excellent addition to any pond or water garden. This is a yellow-flowered, somewhat weedy pond plants and rampant species, especially when grown in sub-tropical or tropical conditions. Slightly fragrant canary-yellow flowers with yellow stamens 6-11cm across. The sepals and outermost petals are in distinct whorls of four. The leaves are usually rounded, but sometimes irregular, green flecked with brown and infused with red beneath.
